I am sure your remark is tongue in cheek but a very good opportunity to explain the bar fishing setup for those just taking up the sport. From the spreader use 40 to 50 pound test as when casting you will not get as many tangles on your terminal gear. As well the leader that will be about 3 feet long being as I said 40 to 50 pound test as it will not burn through as quickly by using this test of line. Of course the spinning of the glow will burn through in time. If you check it it you will have a small nick where the glow is after a few hours. I would say change it every 8 hours or so of fishing time. I have seen fish lost because of not changing it, including myself once. :'(

The leader for your weight can be around 20 pounds so if it gets hooked up you can usuially break it off and continue to fight the fish. I use about a foot of line for the weight setup.

Your tips of the day. ;D ;D

We can not all afford jet boats. ;D ;D ;D

In a serious note unless we are not careful there will be a lot of jet boats for sale if we continue to lose fishing opportunities. Time to write those letters once again to the Minister and others. Also send money to the SDA. The best is to send it in by cheque or drop some change in the buckets at the sports shops. I heard today through the rumor mill that someone was trying to collect funds at the boat launches for the SDA or the FVSS. As far as I know no directors are collecting money as that is not the way to go unless it is a membership where special memberships are produced.
