Sept 4
« on: September 04, 2005, 06:48:59 PM »

Short report.

2 fish in about an hour

Driving out, missed the shallow part, and ended up in 4ft of water..... Not good at all  :'( :'( :'( :'(

Filing reports, and will find out if I get to see my truck ever again, or if it's gonna be a write-off.

VERY EXPENSIVE FISH :(

Oh, and I forgot.... Hi again to Dead Head, Mark and kids!

Peg Leg?  Saw a guy do it with a little compact car last night.  Water was up to his window!  Very expensive fish, actually wondering if going out at all is worth it! Gas , hooks, line, betties etc.   ???

Hey DragonSpeed, what type of truck do you got? I saw someone bogged down quite bad today. Did you sink in going through that first channel? I know if you miss the spot it drops off big time, I saw some SUV do that this morning just barely making it.

ouch that hurts. how did you miss though?

Someone else was driving in....so I just figured I'd give them a bit of room.  It was a smaller car.  So much for being nice :(

I did it because I have a knee that is hurting from some ligament damage from my hiking trip last week.  We parked back a ways on Friday when we went, and I could barely walk back to the vehicle.   Saturday, parking closer meant I didn't have searing pain in my leg...so, Sunday I did the same.

Toyota Tundra.  First channel.  Exactly like you say it goes from 6" to 4' in about 2 feet of river :(

To bad to hear it was a Toyo, now if it was a domestic on the other hand  :D;D I guess you weren't the person I saw stuck, some Chevy in the back channel was in pretty deep. Hope everything works out for you and your truck!
