Where are the pinks?
« on: September 05, 2005, 05:11:57 PM »

I was at #3 Road pier in Richmond and at Garry Park today. Very few fish showing, but there were several commercial boats working. I was there around 9:00 -12:00 and it was between tides . Are the pinks further upriver now or will new fish arrive in Richmond?

you have to remember like other salmon the majority of them will move upstream in pitch darkness, midnight when there is most protection from predators. just go to the river when the moon is out and you will see literally thousands of pinks jumping and surfacing going upstream. but they are still coming for another month and then its over.
