Actually the smaller the roe bag, the bigger the fish. At least that is what I have experienced.

read page 19 (i think) of the regs.
I think the vedder would probably be exempt from that though.

For hatchery abundant rivers, with no particular species that are endangered, they usually keep baits open. Usually they have excess of hatchery fish returning and they want us to harvest them.  What are they going to do with all those excess fish? Fish fertilizer plants?

Sorry Rodney, I would have to agree with Milo on that one.  While I was fishing red's on the vedder for the last two seasons, I have had a fair amount of sockeye slamming my bait.  On roe and on red/green wool.  This led me to believe that some of them will hit on the vedder.  Just before anyone else asks, the hook was in the mouth not on the outside of the mouth coming in!!!!!

We maxed out and pulled anchor, and you were having too much of a great time, so we didn't want to disturb you. ;D

Coho time soon, eh?  ;)

Big Steel, I think Rodney knows very well that Vedder sockeye do bite. Me thinks he was just yanking Eagleye's chain! ;)
