Floater don't worry about crushing the roe, It is only fishing line. Feed half the piece of roe through the bait loop, then just pull your line, and tighten the bait loop. The line will cut into the roe a bit but that is ok, It won't cut the skin that is the important part. But the way, do you know how to tie a bait loop????There a pain if you don't but once you've got them figured out it only take 5 seconds to tie on up real nice!!!!I'm sure that there is a diagram out there for you to learn from. Maybe someone else out there can find that for you
I would but I gotta go. Let me know how it works out for you. Fishin assasin is right about the roe sack. But for coho I think from my experience that boraxed roe, not in a sack is the best. I love roe sacks for steelhead though. Just personal preference I guess. Whatever you are confident with!!!!
