Great Job done ROD...
« on: October 07, 2005, 11:05:56 AM »

Just wanted to say that i have now been using this website for a while.....I dont think Rod and his people get half as much acknowledgement as they should for running such a great website.  It now more frequently happens that while i am fishing i over hear fishmen talking about this site and how good it is.  Great Job Rod!!

Everyone has only positive things to say about it... Well done... Well put together.....

By the way i dont know Rod and i am not a family member.. hehhee... just wanted to draw some attention to the good work that he is doing....

thanks Rod and crew

Thanks. :-[ We do our best to get the information out. We don't always please everyone, because we can't and we don't plan to. ;D

You can express your appreciation by coming to the Help Habitat Fundraising Lunch the end of this month. ;) I just got off the phone with Dave Lamson, the gentleman in charge of this event. He told me last year the event only sold about 250 tickets out of the 500. You would think with several hundred people fishing the Vedder each day, the tickets would be sold out... (I bought 5 last year, so I had a 1 in 50 chance of winning the $1,000. I should stick my luck to fishing...). :)

Very Clever of you ROD... hehehe

I got to be honest with you.. I put aside money every year for charitable donations... I have now over spent that account by $300 so i will not be buying these tickets.

But again .. Thanks for your great job on the website..

Every year I also ask people, what do you want to see more on the website (not the forum, I'm talking about the site). Tell away. :)

Great site...no doubt. Rod since I missed the cleanup this year in September, I'll make up by attending the lunch and purchasing some tickets. Keep up the good work 8).

not trying to force or make people guilty so they'll buy a ticket. ;D I promise it will be a good time if people come. :) I personally enjoyed this event very much last year, despite of the fact that I had to haul a smoker that I got pressured into bidding on. :P I should have spent more effort on the silent auctions, as some of the items were just bargains. I remember two years ago, the wading jacket, that was a great grab as well... ;)

Good job Rod (and "people"), the site has really grown, great people, good fairly educated discussions  8) and some good fishermen here, that's for sure.
