« on: November 20, 2005, 04:23:38 PM »

Howdy fishers.  Just thought I would post a couple pics of fish caught this weekend.  It was acutally really slow, but it didn't matter cause almost everyone else I talked to was skunkaroo'd  :P

Well the top pic is of a brown trout and there are only a few spots in B.C where you can catch brownies. So that should narrow it down a bit.

Ohhh busted!  That river is known as "The mighty bow".  And when you say "The mighty bow" you should take you hat off, and hold your right hand over your heart. It truely is mighty    ::) ... In fact it is comparable to the mighty stave river  but a bit longer

I didn't even think there were any browns in BC.  Any near the ocean?  Any sea runs?

the Kettle River has a small population of Brown trout, and on Vancouver Island the Cowichan River has some Brown trout.  Good to see those trout, it brings back good memories when I used to flyfish for Browns and Rainbows in Calgary.

Fished the Bow a couple years ago with a cousin who has a nice drift boat. I got into 3 Browns but loved the type of fishing.
