NFR: Does anyone follow the A380 progress?
« on: December 01, 2005, 02:37:54 PM »

Does anyone follow the testing progress of the new Airbus 380?

Found these photos of the A380 followed by the Patrouille De France today.

I think the first flight to Vancouver will be the end of 2007, probably Lufthansa. That means I probably have to sit in one, since I usually fly with Lufthansa to Denmark. :o Do I want to sit in a airplane with 600 other people for 12 hours? :-\

Amazing looking machine though. :)

They're making a tour with it right now, going to all the countries where their customers are and painting the plane with the company's colour. Singapore Airline is supposed to get their first fleet in December 2006, but will probably be delayed now. People are already buying tickets for that flight. ;D They're operating it for the flights from Singapore to London.

Business class on Lufthansa? I wish! ;D

What an amazing aircraft. Let's hope they have enough washrooms for the 600 people ;D

There will probably be two washrooms - one in the front, and one in the back.  One of them will be broken, and the other just recently occupied by someone who didn't agree with their dinner  :-X
