You are correct David, but... you have to know where they might be in such high dirty water, and, you pretty much have to put it an inch from them or they won't see it!! But, yeah, there is a chance to get chinook, chum or coho in this type of water, but there just isn't the numbers of steelhead to be successful at this on a regular basis. If you just want to get out because of being bored silly, then by all means!!! Have at it!!
Be careful though, the river banks in some areas are not that stable with the weather that we have been having!!
Btw, we are now at 26 days in a row!! Might as well just go for the record now!!
