I fish a lot.I spend a lot of time on the rivers scouting and fishing because as everyone knows you want to be there when the run comes in.So after spending the weekend on the river with little success I decided to bring out my father and brother in law out for an after work session. We didn't get out to the bar till around 6:00pm and the first hour was rather uneventful. Then my dad hooked into one which seemed to be coming in fairly easily we figured, must be a jack or maybe a sockeye then it proved us wrong with a huge run to the middle of the river and held like a bull, after some slow hauling and a couple more small runs he had the fish on the shore a nice 10 -12 pound spring.I always like seeing my dad catch fish proving to me the old mans still got it.another hour went by and then my brother in law has one on another epic battle and he has it on shore practically identical to dads,I never like seeing my brother in law catch fish he gloats and dances around and puts it in my face and if I catch one bigger he gets pissed off and wont talk to us the rest of the night that's if he cant knock it off my line with the net first. So now its getting late then finally my rod goes off and as i set the hook snap the top half breaks right in half and the fish is gone.So that concluded this trip for me we  cleaned the fish and headed in all the while being razzed by you know who about how every time I bring him out he catches fish and he doesn't know what my problem is.Any way all in all it was a great time out and i am sure my time is near Maybe I should be a guide Im good at getting other people into fish.

There's a fine line between fishing and standing on the shore like an idiot

I'd gladly take his place in the boat.  ;D

I'd even provide some refreshments!  ;)
