West Van beach fishing

Just wondering if any Coho's have been seen or caught off the beaches in West Van? ( is it a little early?)

With all the sockeye in the fraser might be a good option for  avoiding the crowds, going to check the tides and head out tomorrow,thanks for the response.Will post my results ( if any ) 8wt and some minnow patterns ...away i go!

Away i didn't go..............yard work, pour a little concrete in the basement,all done. Off monday with the dog and the love of my life.......the wife LOL,picnic lunch and maybe a few Coho.Life is good.

morning and low tide is best time.
lately slow but still I saw coho's jump.

Going to give it a go on the weekend.....maybe the rain will bring some fresh fish into english bay.Will keep everyone posted.

I've been out there a lot.  Last Weekend Cohos and Springs were jumping everywhere.  Cohos were very close to shore.  I won't say anymore as I do not want the Fraser River meat factory to move down to the beaches.  I enjoy fishing with only a handful of people and not amongst the masses.  Blue-back Epoxy minnows seem to be working well for me these days but I can't seem to get the epoxy to dry evenly when I tie them.  :-\

use less epoxy, you don't need much.
