Is Hicks lake producing anything of decent size these days? I was there on the 5th and hooked a 11-12" rainbow from shore, had another one before that around the same size but missed em.

Last time i was at Deer, few weeks ago, it was the same. Lots of fish but very small.

Might try Hicks next time, i have heard they are a bit larger in comparison to whats in deer.

Moss lake is worth trying out. Used to fish it 4-5 years ago with good success, but most of the fish weren't much bigger then what you would catch in Deer (10-14"). Definitely check the regs though, I know they closed all the lakes around moss a few years ago to do some research and I don't think they have been opened back up.
