Poured here all night, I believe it will be in poor condition but I notice the gauge at Vedder Crossing has not risen too much as it is most likely snowing up top as it is cool out this morning so it may be in. :-\

Go out and check and if it is unfishable come to the river cleanup as we celebrate BC Rivers' Day,the TV camera's will be there so you might get on TV too. ;D ;D There will be plenty of food, displays, entertainment and great prizes. Coffee and donuts will be there at the start of registration at 8:30. The festivities go on to around 2:00.

There is not charge for anything so try to attend and celebrate one of our great rivers in British Columbia, even if it may be a bit dirty today. :-\

Thanks Chris. Woke up this morning looked out the front window and just crawled back into bed. It was raining way too hard. Searun phoned at 5 and said he was doing the same. Oh well I guess a mental health day is in order soon.

I could not believe it, on the way to the cleanup I noticed the river looked ok, at 7 AM. :-[ I am sorry if my comments kept some of you away from the flow but I thought it would be a wipeout. :o Will check it at dark for you.

After an one hour nap after the cleanup slipped out to pick up the last of the recyclables at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve, The Leaf Mobile is loaded now with them, a tidy sum for the CVRCC. I then went down to the Bell Run but nothing. Then to the Hydro Bridge area for the last 20 minutes, missed 2 of something, maybe smolts. Saw a nice coho taken ;D and then a pink brought in sideways. ::)

The good part although it is still raining the river was in great shape, I guess it is partly due to the low freezing level. While most of you work tomorrow I will be out fishing. ;D ;D ;D

Not the greatest when I checked it today so Lew and I decided to do some CVRCC business instead. I guesssit could have been fishable but when I can fish almost any day if I wish I can pick better conditions to do so. ;D

I will check later and file a report.

Sorry guys but what's the weather web site that I can check the water level of the Vedder?

I'm assuming that the water level is super high but how high? Thanks

PS. I thought I'd ask since it's somewhat related to this thread. Thanks
