March 21st, 2005:
Fish Habitat Planting
From Seymour
Salmonid Society:
On Tuesday March 22, Wednesday March 23 and March
24th I will be leading a class of Japanese students you are coming
up to volunteer for us. They will be coming up in the afternoons
of these days where I will be conducting a quick hatchery tour and
then we will be moving down to the Mid-Valley habitat project. From
there we will conduct some riparian restoration (planting) on the
newly created fish habitat.
I looking for one or two volunteers per day. You
will be helping me in a supervisory role. Basically to ensure that
the plants are planted properly and to help the students when necessary.
We can meet at the Mid-valley fish habitat project
for 2:30 pm and should be finished at 4:00pm
If this is something that may interest you let me
know.
Thanks,
James Weger
