Fish and Game Protective Association want to get you fishing!
The Freshwater Fisheries Society of B.C. and the Victoria Fish
and Game Protective Association (both non-profit organizations)
are hosting a FREE Fall Fishing Fair open to the
public on Saturday October 15th.
Fun for the whole family! Kids will have the opportunity to learn
to fish from experienced anglers! Activities include:
- Kids will have the opportunity to learn to fish from experienced
anglers!
- CATCH A FISH at the trout fishing pond!
- Learn to tie your own flies!
- Make fishy art to take home!
- Race goldfish!
- See a fly casting demonstration!
- Kids eat free at the barbeque!
- Dozens of PRIZES to be given away at the event!
When: Saturday, October 15th, 10:00am - 3:00pm
Where: Victoria Fish and Game Club, on the Malahat
across from the entrance to
Spectacle Lake.
Direction: The Victoria Fish and Game Club property
is located a short 20 minute drive north of Victoria. Travel north
from Victoria on the Trans Canada Highway #1 to the top of Malahat
Mountain. Turn right on to Holker Place, and go 100 meters to our
property entrance. Holker Place is approximately 1 kilometer past
Shawnigan Lake Road and is opposite the turnoff to Spectacle Lake
