Egg-take This Saturday
There is a chum egg-take in Squamish on this Saturday November 19th; 10:00 am at the Tenderfoot Hatchery. This can be a messy activity so bring waders if you have them; wear old clothes, and bring a lunch if you want to eat more than doughnuts. Direction to the hatchery: North, from Vancouver, on Highway 99. Look for hatchery signs just prior to the junction for Alice Lake Provincial Park. Turn left onto Squamish Valley Road. Travel four kilometres west to Cheekye, take the right fork (Paradise Valley Road). Four kilometres then turn right onto Midnight Way. Hatchery is at the south end of the road, approximately 1 kilometre. Contact Jack Cooley for more information. Back to Fishy News. |
