Day Steelhead Derby From Chilliwack Fish and Game Club:
The Chilliwack Fish and Game Club presents the 62nd Annual Boxing
Day Steelhead Derby on the Chilliwack River on December 26th,
2005! (Update! Postponed to January
1st, 2006)
Entry fee:
- $10.00 for Chilliwack Fish and Game Club Members, Juniors (17
and under), Pensioners over 65 .
- $15.00 Non-members.
Pre-register now at:
- Reaction Fly and Tackle, North of Whatcom Road Exit off Hwy
1
- Fred's Custom Tackle, Vedder Crossing
- Chilliwack Dart and Tackle, Downtown Chilliwack
- On the Way Store, Chilliwack Lake Road
- Hub Sports, Abbotsford
Or register on derby day at the Fish and Game Club on Derby Day
until 10:00am. No ticket sales on derby day other than at the Fish
and Game clubhouse.
Derby Day Punch Stations:
- Lickman Road 6:30am to 8:30am
- Tamihi Bridge 6:30am to 8:30am
- Fish and Game Club Hall 6:30am to 10:00am
You must have your ticket punched before proceeding to fish on
derby day.
Contest Closes 2:00 pm sharp, this is followed by the trophy presentation
will take place at the Chilliwack Fish and Game Clubhouse. Participants
must be present with a punched ticket to win draw prizes.
This year's top prize includes:
Wayne Ridley Fishing Charters
Four nights, three days ocean fishing for one at Winter
Harbour, Vancouver Island, value $1,400!

Direction to the Chilliwack Fish and Game Clubhouse: From Vedder
Road, turn east onto Chilliwack Lake Road at the Vedder Bridge.
Drive for 6 km. The clubhouse is on your left beside the firehouse.
Money raised from th derby will be used in future habitat work
on the Chilliwack River!
