Job Opportunity in Management of Fish and Sustainable Fisheries

Are you looking to make a difference with an outstanding not-for-profit
organization dedicated to advancing sustainability? The Fraser
Basin Council is seeking a talented and experienced full-time
manager for our Sustainable Fish and Fisheries Program. Working
with a highly motivated team in regional offices throughout the
Fraser Basin, you will be responsible for the planning and execution
of the Council's role in the new Fraser Basin Initiative for Salmonids
and Watersheds. This is an exciting new initiative directed at inspiring
and enabling changes in human behaviour for the benefit of salmonids
and the watersheds they depend on.
Requirements include relevant post-secondary, preferably graduate
level, education, demonstrated experience with Fraser fisheries
and land-use issues, and excellence in working and communicating
with diverse constituents. Experience with facilitation and process
design an asset.
This position is a one-year maternity leave position.
