Q&A Number 3 is now live! Our guest host Kitty answers the ultimate question which has been asked since the day boys discovered fishing… How do you get a girl into fishing? 😉 Thank you all for sending in your questions. We tried to answer all of them but could only fit in so many in 25 minutes. This was a lot of fun to film at Tunkwa Lake Resort even though it was -10C at the time.

Recently we completed several video for Habitat Conservation Trust Foundation, which is funded by the conservation surcharges from your freshwater fishing licences. These videos are a series which highlights an important program which HCTF funds.
As part of its commitment to building a better future for fish, wildlife and habitat in BC, the Habitat Conservation Trust Foundation funds paid internships for BCIT students in their Ecological Restoration Program.
BC’s rapid rate of industrial expansion combined with the imminent retirement of many of the province’s conservation and ecological restoration professionals has created an pressing need to build the next generation of fish and wildlife professionals to face tomorrow’s conservation challenges. Training for these hands-on professions requires moving beyond the classroom and out into the field. These summer internships provide invaluable real-world experience working alongside professional biologists from HCTF partner organizations.
In this video series, you’ll hear from both students and mentors about the benefits of this program in building capacity for conservation in BC.

After enjoying retaining several coho salmon from the Chilliwack/Vedder River this fall, we decided to try out canning for the first time! If it turns out well, we’ll be publishing the recipe in the article and video sections.

The full-length version of “Canada Chronicles Fraser River Sturgeon Fishing” featuring Swedish YouTubers Kanalgratis is now live! This has been a collaborative effort between the two YouTube channels, as well as Great River Fishing Adventures.
Both Johan, the owner of Kanalgratis, and I believe that online video content like this, made available to anyone, anywhere at anytime, is the media of the future and we work extremely hard to bring quality content to the audience. Because online video broadcasting allows the audience to participate by leaving comments, this type of interaction can only help us to create more and better videos in the future.

Back in September, we did a video collaboration with Kanalgratis from Sweden, which is currently the largest YouTube fishing channel in Europe. Channel owner Johan Ruhe has been talking about catching a big sturgeon for a very long time now and he finally got the wish on his birthday, with the help from Great River Fishing Adventures. Here is the trailer of the collaborated video “Canada Chronicles, Fraser River Sturgeon”, which will be aired on October 14th.
