Family Fishing Weekend Golf Tournament

Posted on August 15th 2012, by Rodney Hsu, webmaster

The Family Fishing Society of BC will be hosting the 4th annual Family Fishing Weekend Golf Tournament on September 10th at Meadow Gardens Golf Course in Pitt Meadows. This is a fantastic opportunity to show your support for BC's Family Fishing Weekend and also have a chance to take part in a fun, social event with a variety of participants who contribute to, participate or are just interested in sport fishing opportunities in BC.

Tickets are $100/person for a round of golf, BBQ steak dinner and a chance to win great prizes, and of course, acquire fame and accolades! Other details of the event include:

  • BBQ Steak dinner
  • First tee-off at approximately 11:00 AM
  • Texas Scramble format
  • Men's and Women's KP
  • 50/50
  • Putting contest
  • Random prizes
  • Silent auction
  • Mulligan purchase

The society hopes to see you on September 10th. With your support, the BC's Family Fishing Weekend will continue to introduce fishing to more British Columbians each year. BC's Family Fishing Weekend takes place annual on the Father's Day Weekend when participants can take part in fishing without a recreational fishing licence. This year, the society was the proud recipient of the National Recreational Fisheries Award, presented by Fisheries and Oceans Canada.

Space is limited for this fundraiser so please register sooner than late by downloading this registration form. Registration closes on August 27th. For more information, please visit Family Fishing Weekend's website.
