Columbia River Northern Pike Reward Program

Northern pike have been illegally transplanted into the Columbia River and the Ministry of Forests, Lands and Natural Resource Operations has started a reward program, hoping to remove the invasive population.
Northern pike are not native in Southern British Columbia. Anglers should not confuse them with northern pikeminnow, which are native in most watersheds of British Columbia.
