Annual Quota

Annual Quota is the number of fish that you are allowed to keep per year. In British Columbia, this applies to three fish species - Chinook salmon, steelhead and lingcod.

Once you decide to keep your fish, you must record the information (catch date and location) on your fishing licence immediately.

The annual quota is designed for species that can provide limited harvest opportunities for recreational fishermen.
