Tidal Boundary

In rivers, the tidal boundary divides the saltwater and freshwater portions. The boundary is usually designated by fishery managers for fish management purposes. The tidal effect can still be felt above the tidal boundary most of the time. Usually a bridge is used as the boundary. If no bridges are available, markers are used from the river banks.
