The 10th annual Lafarge Lake kids fishing event will take place on Saturday June 14th. This event is part of the annual BC Family Fishing Weekend. Beside trout fishing, there will be many other exciting features during the event, including casting instruction, flytying demonstration, environmental displays, fish releasing by kids. A fish pen will be set up for kids fishing to guarantee success.

This year's event will also be the official launch of the new fishing dock including wheelchair access. There will also be many prizes available throughout the event.

The event will take place between 9:00am and 1:00pm. Lafarge Lake is located in Coquitlam.
