The Seymour Salmonid Society will be doing chum salmon fry release at Maplewood Farm on Saturday April 17th. Kids who visit the farm will have an opportunity to take some chum salmon fry from a bucket and release them into a small creek that runs into Seymour River. The release will start at around 9:45am. This is a fantastic chance for parents to give some hands-on salmon experience to their kids.
