STS Guide Tom Pearce finally got the monkey off his back. Tom has hooked many big fish in his 9 years of guiding but for whatever reason never got that fish over 11ft to the beach. Well last Monday was a special day for Tom, how does 11 ft 3 inches sound?

Warren Calderone of Doka Canada Ltd invited clients Norm, Brad and Charles of Syber Concrete and Taylor Contruction for a day of fishing on the Fraser. After limiting out on sockeye salmon, the group decided to try their luck at sturgeon fishing. The first fish was 2 ft, second was 5 ft, 3rd was, well after a 90 minute battle, 11 ft 3 inches! What a great day and experience for all as 4 boats of STS Guiding Service's clients got to help land this fish. Truly a team effort by all the guides & guests, great job boys!

As you can see fishing is very good, not everyone gets an 11ft fish but most of our guests are limiting out on sockeye and ending the day with some very nice sturgeon between 4 to 8 ft.
