On Sunday April 17th, Kanaka Education and Environmental Partnership Society will be hosting "Goodbye Chums 2011" at Bell-Irving Hatchery. From 11:00am to 3:00pm, learn about Kanaka Creek and how to protect it or any other streams in your neighbourhood. You will also have an opportunity to release juvenile chum salmon into Kanaka Creek. Admission is free to this family event.
