Squamish River Pink Salmon Opening
Sections of Squamish River and its tributaries open for pink salmon fishing on July 6th. Daily quota is two per day.

Howe Sound Pink Salmon Opening
Pink salmon recreational fishery opens for Howe Sound on July 6th 2015 until March 31st 2016. Daily quota is four per day.

Southern Vancouver Island Stream Closures
As the region enters level 4 drought conditions, streams in Southern Vancouver Island and Gulf Islands are closed for fishing.

Stamp, Sproat, Somass River Salmon Closure
Due to the high water temperature and low river level, Fisheries and Oceans Canada has closed the SSS system for salmon fishing.

Tidal Somass River Sockeye Closure
