Southern BC Marine Waters Sockeye Opening
Fisheries and Oceans Canada has announced sockeye salmon retention opening for Southern BC marine waters on August 1st.

Lingcod and Rockfish Opening Information
On May 1st, Areas 12 to 20, and part of 29, will open for lingcod and rockfish fishing. Please see the fishery notice for details.

Alberni Inlet, Barkley Sound Sockeye Opening
On May 1st, sockeye salmon fishing opens for Barkley Sound, Alberni Inlet and tidal portion of Somass River on Vancouver Island.

Halibut Management Measures
Recreational halibut fishing in BC is open, please note the management measures that are in place starting on April 1st.

Lingcod and Rockfish Opening Information
